Following last year’s popular concert, we return to the atmospheric Brunel Tunnel Entrance…with special guests Tiger Roses, gypsy jazz violin and guitar duo…
Concert June 14th, 2018
As part of the Crouch End Festival we will be performing with Cecil Sharp House choir at:
Holy Innocents Church, 134 Tottenham Lane, N8 7EL 8.00 – 9.30pm
Following our hosting of Italian choir D’Altro Canto in the autumn, we had the return leg in march…
The Wing-Its were sumptuously hosted by our Italian singing friends who welcomed us with open arms and helped organise an enchanting time in Tuscany. The trip culminated in a triumphant concert on saturday night in the magnificent Chiesa di Sant’ Agostino at San Gimignano…
We all embraced this opportunity to make new friends and practice our Italian, sing, eat, drink, and also visit Pisa, Florence and Sienna.

Singing in the Brunel Tunnel entrance hall
Our last concert for the summer on 16 July 2017 was held in the wonderfully atmospheric Grand Entrance Hall of the Brunel Tunnel, Rotherhithe. Here are some pictures, which we think convey what a lovely evening was had.
Thanks so much to the Brunel Museum for hosting us, and to Midnight Apothecary for serving delicious cocktails in the roof garden!
Concert for Syria’s Children 22 May 2016
A big THANK YOU to everyone who came to our benefit concert for Syria’s children on Sunday 22 May 2016. With donations and bar sales together we raised over £2,600 plus gift aid to support Save the Children.
Thanks to all performers too! It was wonderful to share this event with Bedford Community Arts Choir, Pete Cooper’s London Fiddle Band, pianist Holly Cullen-Davies and trumpeter Will Embliss.
We followed this up with a ‘return’ gig in Bedford on 11 June at the Place Theatre. This has been a lovely collaboration; we really enjoyed singing with Bedford Community Arts Choir. Thanks to all for organising it!
Nepal Benefit Concert, 13 July 2015
Our next concert is on Monday 13 July 2015, 8pm at St Mary’s Church, Stoke Newington Church Street.
We are joining together with the Cecil Sharp House Choir, the Pete Cooper London Fiddle Group and other virtuoso musicians, under the direction of Sally Davies, to raise money to support earthquake victims in Nepal. See full details in the flyer posted below.
It would be great if all of the Wing-It Singers’ friends, fans and families could support this event – which takes the place of our summer concert this year.
Please note, this concert is being held in the bigger, Victorian church, not the small one we’ve previously had concerts in… There is much more capacity in the larger church, so we’re hoping for a big audience and lots of money raised for a good cause. There will be wine and soft drinks available during the interval.
Please come and support this musical extravaganza – and bring your friends!
10 May: Urban Village Fete
We will be singing at the Urban Village Fete on Sunday 10th May. It’s in the Greenwich peninsula and we’ll be performing between 2.15 and 4pm.
It would be great to see a friendly crowd of Wing-It Singers fans!
Find out more about the Urban Village Fete.
